Learn the Kundalini Yoga Mantras

I finally got my hands on a copy of the Kundalini Mantra Instruction album

Kundalini Mantra Instruction

Kundalini Mantra Instruction

by my good friend Gurudass Kaur. It is a great contribution to the practice of kundalini yoga. She covers most of the mantras used throughout the classes.

Yogi Bhajan often spoke of the upper palate as keys on a piano. The effects of mantra were realized through the motion of the tongue on the palate and the teeth. These points were sensitive and would then have effects on the brain. He would then stress the importance of pronunciation in realizing these experiences.

This CD is real helpful in that regard. I have hyperlinked the searches to other music on our site in case you want more music with those mantras. Unfortunately there is not uniformity in the spelling, so some things are missed. All results were found by narrowing the search to track names on spiritvoyage.com and then entering the desired mantra.

The Mantras on this CD are:

1. Ong namo guroo dayv namo
2. Aad guray nameh

  1. I had a question bout a couple of mantras. Do you have any cds or sound bits that has:

    Hari Har Hari Har

or Ek Ong Kar Sat Hari

    or Wha

I am looking to integrate them in my yoga classes and can’t find them. Can you please help? thanks!

    Sat Nam,
did you find anything on Ek ong kar sat hari?
I was given the below mediation with this mantra so I am sharing with you:

Meditation for Flight to the 3-5th Blue Ethers

    sit in easy pose.

Mudra: at the heart centre. palms together, cross the thumbs left over right
and then put/push the thumbs inside between the palms.

Eyes: focus at the tip of the nose 1/10th open.

    Mantra: EK ONGKAR SAT HARI
take a deep breath and chant the whole mantra
    making the ONGKAR long
till nearly the end of the breath then SAT
End with a powerful HARI at the very end of breath.

Time: can be done up to 2 1/2 hours – build up slowly

Comment: stop if you are falling asleep.a

      Satnam-

I have never come across a recording for Ek Ong Kar Sat Hari. I will ask around and see what I can find.

Hari Har – There is a nice version on Grace by Snatam. I think that is a the only version out there.

Wha – I would think is a long chant of wha probably right ? I also don’t think there is a recording of this.
